PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner equipped with an opening/closing device capable of smoothly opening/closing an intake port while simplifying constitution compared with a conventional one. SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes a body having the intake port; a front panel rotatably mounted to the body to open/close the intake port; and the opening/closing device for opening/closing the front panel. The opening/closing device includes a lifting member liftably mounted to the body; a driving device for lifting the lifting member; and a link member for connecting the lifting member to the front panel and converting the lifting motion of the lifting member into rotary motion of the front panel.
