A field pantograph has an extension arm which consists of a plurality of legs lying in one plane and connected to each other by articulations in the manner of a set of lazy tongs, is mounted to be rotatable about a fixed axis and carries at its free end a moving pencil with a drawing board arranged adjacent to the fixed axis and extending in a plane orthogonal to the fixed axis, and a drawing device provided with a drawing pencil which is in active connection with the extension arm, the legs (20) of the extension arm (10) being arranged in a plane parallel to the fixed axis (12) and the extension arm (10) being articulated in this plane on the fixed axis (12) so as to be capable of upward and downward pivoting, and the drawing device (14) is controlled via a rod (18) arranged parallel to the fixed axis (12), on which a sleeve (16) articulated on the extension arm (10) is guided for upward and downward movement. <IMAGE>
