METHOD FOR SEQUENCE SET CONFIGURATION AND METHOD FOR RANDOM ACCESS USING THE SAME

A method for configuring a sequence set and a random access method using the same are provided to increase a sequence reuse factor and maximize a cell coverage which can be assisted. The whole sets are configured as candidate sets according to the number of random access signals which can be simultaneously assisted per cell(S101). A sequence set is configured by selecting a set, which satisfies one of a condition for minimizing the number of route index sequences used in a specific cell, and a condition for maximizing a supportable cell coverage, from the candidate sets(S102-S104).
