The invention relates to a non-metal parts milling apparatus having at least a motorized rotating shaft or rotor (5) in a container (2) for collecting non-metal parts to be milled, said shaft (5) being provided with a plurality of mobile gear teeth or blades (6) to shred and mill said non-metal parts, in association with fixed counterblades (7, 8) connected to the receptacle (2). The motorized shaft or rotor (5), the mobile blades (6) and the container (2) being electric conductors and in electrical continuity and are connected to the ground. The fixed counterblades (7, 8) are also electrical conductors, but are electrically isolated from the receptacle (2) to which they are connected and have a potential different from zero. In this way, an electric circuit is constituted which can be closed by a metal part being simultaneously in contact with one of the said fixed counterblades (7, 8) and either the receptacle (2), the rotor (5), one of the mobile blades (6), the closure of said circuit causing the rotation of the rotor (5) to stop, and the activation of a braking means of the rotating activation organ of said rotor. |
