PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston for an internal combustion engine capable of securing strength and durability of the piston while putting a piston pin position close to a top surface side. SOLUTION: The piston 1 is composed of a cylindrical piston body 10 having a top surface, and a pair of piston brackets 14, 14 pivotally supporting the piston pin 12 and butting on the piston body at three points of the top surface of the main body part 61 and support arm parts 64, 64.
