REGISTRATION OF CUSTOMERS FOR PAYMENT CARD BASED REMITTANCE SYSTEM

An application is received to register a customer for a funds transfer system. The application includes (a) the customer's name, (b) the customer's residential address, (c) the customer's mobile telephone number, and (d) an identification document that confirms the customer's name and residential address. The customer's mobile telephone number is associated with a payment card account number. The customer's name and residential address and a record of the identification document are stored in association with the payment card account number.
