PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relocation detecting device capable of suitably detecting relocation of equipment by using a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: A direction sensor 11 is made to turn by a turning part 12, a reference direction stored in a reference direction storage means (reference direction data table 53a) and a direction detected by a direction detection means (CPU (central processing unit) 51, a direction detection program 53b, and the direction sensor 11) are compared by a decision means (the CPU 51 and a decision program 53c), and it is determined that the placing type equipment 1 is relocated, when a difference therebetween exceeds a prescribed threshold.
