<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording ink composition which can give a high-quality image with a high-saturation good hue without causing bleeding and strike-through, to provide an ink media set, to provide an inkjet recording method, and to provide an inkjet-recorded matter. <P>SOLUTION: The ink media set is one comprising an ink composition and a recording medium, wherein the ink composition is one comprising at least an organic solvent, water, and a substantially water-insoluble but organic-solvent-soluble colorant, wherein the colorant is present in a state dispersed in the water and is present in a state dissolved in the organic solvent, and the amount of the colorant separated by ultrafiltration through a membrane of a molecular weight cut-off value of 50,000 and being in a dissolved state is not higher than 10% of the total amount of the colorant in the composition and the recording medium set is one comprising a support and a coating layer formed on at least either of the surfaces of the support, wherein the amount of the ink composition transferred to the recording medium is 4-15 ml/m<SP>2</SP>at a contact time of 100 ms and is 7-20 ml/m<SP>2</SP>at a contact time of 400 ms as measured with a dynamic scanning absorptometer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
