A cellulose compound composition, a cellulose compound film, an optically compensatory sheet, a polarizing plate, and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device are provided to form a cellulose compound film, in which a change of in-plane retardation(Re) and retardation(Rth) in a thickness direction due to a change of humidity is reduced, and provide an excellent effect at the same time that the Re and Rth can be freely controlled in a wide range. A cellulose compound composition comprises a cellulose compound. The cellulose compound includes an aliphatic acyl group(A) having a carbon number of 5 to 30 and an acyl group containing an aromatic group(B). The cellulose compound additionally includes an aliphatic acyl group(C) having a carbon number of 2 to 4. The cellulose compound satisfies a following formula(I): 2.4<=DSA+DSB+DSC<=3.0. DSA, DSB and DSC indicate the substitution degrees of the acyl group(A), the acyl group(B) and the acyl group(C) respectively. |
