PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe sheet delivery mechanism capable of preventing nipping of a finger or foreign matter in a gap between a delivery roller and a delivery port, and an image forming device equipped therewith. SOLUTION: A deriving roller 20 is constituted by a cylindrical roller body 23 loosely fitted to a rotating shaft 27 in a rotatable manner, and a pair of flange parts 25 formed by an elastic material slidably supporting the roller body 23. A through-hole 25a is formed in a center of the flange part 25, and a locking claw 28 locked to a groove part 27a of the rotating shaft 27 is protrudingly provided on an inner peripheral surface of the through hole 25a. During delivering of a sheet, the roller body 23 and the flange parts 25 are rotated integrally with the rotating shaft 27. When a load more than a prescribed value is applied to the driving roller 20, connecting surfaces 23b and 25b of the roller body 23 and the flange part 25, or the locking claw 28 and the groove part 27a are slipped, and rotation of the roller body 23 and the flange part 25 is stopped.
