<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking assist method and a parking assist system that can instantly grasp the relative positions of a vehicle and a parking frame. <P>SOLUTION: In a parking assist unit 2 which displays the images of the vehicle periphery on a display 5, a composite image indicating the vehicle periphery is outputted to the display 5 and an image of the vehicle of the composite image is drawn at a position corresponding to the present position of the vehicle. Furthermore, the composite image is drawn by fixing the target parking frame to a predetermined position at least when the vehicle approaches a target parking frame, and the image of the vehicle is moved on the composite image with the reverse movement of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
