An information processing device, an information processing method, and a program thereof are provided to present contents suitable for user's preference to a user easily in a visual mode by generating a search axis through training. A search axis training unit(31) generates a search axis by training. The search axis is a reference for presenting contents, and is determined by contents playback history or evaluation of a user. A display unit(45) controls presenting the contents based on the generated search axis. A search axis value calculator(39) calculates a value of the contents on the generated search axis. The search axis training unit generates the search axis by finding a regression equation, which is used for calculating the value of the contents on the search axis, through training based on a feature quantity of the contents, and the contents playback history or evaluation of the user.
