<p>Provided are a method and an apparatus for checking whether restored files have been normally opened. The method includes: restoring a plurality of files; opening files to be checked whether they have been normally restored, among the restored files; determining whether the files to be checked have been normally opened; and moving the normally opened files to a target folder, wherein the files to be checked are opened using a file open module provided in an application program by which the files to be checked are made.</p>
