PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor material separator for wholly separating a floor material even in a place near to a wall, in the floor material of a building. SOLUTION: A boom 11 arranged in front of a carriage 15 is rotatably arranged around a vertical shaft with its front part as the axis. Thus, a cutter 12 can be turned to the carriage 15. As a result, the floor material can be separated in the place near to the wall. A left-over part of the separating floor material is reduced even in the place near to the wall. The cutter 12 for separating the floor material can be detachably installed in a lower part of a blade 13. The floor material separator can be arranged in a central part of the blade 13 in an ordinary state, and can be arranged in an end part of the blade 13 when performing on a wall surface.
