<p>A PTT(Push To Talk) service supply method in a communication system and a system therefor are provided to offer a PTT service according to a terminal's request, when the terminal does not want to generate a new session while the terminal wants to participate in an ongoing session only. A server receives an invite message for demanding participation in the currently ongoing group session from a terminal(901). The server checks whether the currently ongoing group session exists in a PoC(PTT over Cellular) communication system(903). If so, the server transmits a 2000K message to the terminal to accept the demand of participating in the group session(905). If the group session does not exist, the server checks whether a join-only message is inserted into the invite message(907). If so, the server sends a 404 Not Found message to the terminal to reject the demand(909).</p> |
