A CIRCULAR MAT AND THE USING METHOD FOR VERY SOFT GROUND

A circular mat for the ultra soft ground and a pavement method using the circular mat are provided to pave a mat by manufacturing a mat by winding a mat round the outside of a shaft in a circle and moving on the surface of the ultra soft ground, thereby making the mat rotated and unwound naturally, to pave a mat on the surface of the ultra soft ground smoothly by forming a hollow in a shaft for minimizing the weight and generating buoyancy, and to pave a mat easily by rotating on the surface of the ultra soft ground and minimizing surface resistance. A circular mat(100) for the ultra soft ground is manufactured to be wound round the outside of a shaft(110) provided with a hollow(111) to secure buoyancy. A pavement method using the circular mat comprises the steps of: fixing one end of a mat manufactured to be wound round the outside of a shaft to one side of a revetment; connecting a wire rope to two sides of the shaft and winding or pulling the wire rope with a take-up device for rotating the mat and paving across the surface of the ultra soft ground; stitching up the sides of the mat paved on the surface of the ultra soft ground; and paving the mat on the construction area of the ultra soft ground.
