摘要 A display apparatus, a driving method thereof, and an electronic apparatus are provided to perform a compensation operation for a pixel by scanning a voltage of a bias line and inputting a coupling voltage to a current terminal of a drive transistor through an auxiliary transistor. A display apparatus includes a write scanner(4), a horizontal selector(3), a pixel array unit(1), and a bias scanner(8). The write scanner supplies sequence control signals to a scan line. The horizontal selector supplies image signals to signal lines, performs a compensation operation for maintaining a voltage corresponding to a threshold voltage of a drive transistor, and stores an image signal in a capacitor. Each pixel(2) of the pixel array unit includes an auxiliary capacitor which is connected between a source of the drive transistor and a bias line. The bias scanner applies a coupling voltage to the source of the drive transistor through the auxiliary capacitor by converting a voltage level of the bias line before the compensation operation in order to increase a voltage difference between gate and source of the drive transistor more than the threshold voltage.
