A device and a method for processing multi-selection are provided to enable a user to execute a plurality of contents selection and operation commands efficiently through an intuitive and easy interface mode. A display unit(210) displays a first area arranging a plurality of contents in one row along a predetermined axial direction and a second area arranged in parallel to the first area to a screen. A searcher(230) searches the contents to be inserted into the second area from the first area by a signal of a direction button included in an input unit(220). A moving unit(240) inserts the searched contents into the second area or removes the searched contents from the second area by the signal of the direction button. An ordering unit(250) executes a predetermined command for the contents inserted into the second area. The second area is moved by movement of the first area when the contents to be inserted into the second area are found in the first area.
