<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of smoothly executing the decoding of a moving-image stream. <P>SOLUTION: A mode detecting module 211 for a video reproducing application 201 inquires an OS100 for a display under what conditions of an image decoded by a decoding execution module 213 and detects the display. When the mode detecting module 211 detects the status of full-screen display, a decoding control module 212 drive-controls the decoding execution module 213 so as to select a normal decoding processing for decoding, while maintaining an original frame rate. Meanwhile, when the mode detecting module 211 detects the status of contracted display, the decoding control module 212 drive-controls the decoding execution module 213 so as to select a simplified decoding processing for decoding, while making the frame rate lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
