PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical lens detecting structure capable of detecting kinds of optical lenses mounted on an adapter, and to provide a structure enabling attaching/detaching of a decoration ring, attached to a lens yap, as it is, and a photographic device provided with them. SOLUTION: The optical lens detecting structure is provided with the adapter 12 for attaching a wide conversion lens 13, and a digital camera capable of mounting it by rotating the adapter 12. The optical lens detection structure has a projection provided on the adapter 12 and a projection provided on a mount part of the digital camera, with both the projections always contact in an attachment rotation angle, in a state where the wide conversion lens 13 is attached to the adapter 12; and further, the optical lens detection structure has a detecting means for detecting the contact of both the projections, and detects that the wide conversion lens 13 is mounted on the adapter 12, based on the detection result of the detecting means.
