<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously record a chapter with a different video chapter without causing a deterioration in image quality of a subsequent chapter during reproduction. <P>SOLUTION: During recording with a subsequent chapter of a video stream connected to a previous chapter of the video stream included in a multiplexed stream, this recorder controls a multiplexing part so as to make the occupancy amount of a VBV (Video Buffering Verifier) buffer be equal to or more than a set threshold when starting to transfer the video stream from a video encoding part to the VBV buffer of the subsequent chapter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
