OIL RECOVERY METHOD FOR ICE BOUND SEA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently recovering oil by generating a strong water flow by the use of a propeller of an ice breaker or an ice-resistant ship so as to separate ice and the oil from each other. SOLUTION: The ice breaker 1 forms an open channel 5 around an ice board 4a on outflow oil 3; the ice board 4a is surrounded by an ice boom 7; subsequently, the ice boom 7 and both terminal ends of an oil fence 6 are tied to each other; one-side ends of ice boom fixing ropes 10 are connected to at least two locations on the side of a location where the ice boom 7 is tied, respectively; the other-side ends are fixed to a stern of the ice breaker 1; the ice breaker 1 advances while forming the open channel 11 in the central direction of the ice board 4a; after that, a strong water flow is generated by means of the propeller of the ice breaker 1; and the water flow makes the outflow oil 3 separated from the ice board 4a so as to make the outflow oil 3 removed by floating up to the open channel 5 between the ice boom 7 and the oil fence 6.
