The arrangement has drafting units with movable bottom aprons (9a). A unit is provided for mounting of deflection elements (7a) and for swivelable supporting of a lower roller (5a). The unit has a fixed bearing block, in which the roller is supported. An end of a support arm (27) is fixed at the bearing block at a position that lies before the lower roller in a transport direction for a fiber material. The deflection elements and a holding element (25) arranged lateral to the deflection elements are combined as a single piece component. The holding element is fixed at the support arm.
