PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting head which is simply assembled, whose operation is sure and efficient, and which effectively fits one cord to a tire carcass in two directions. SOLUTION: A tool head for fitting a tire cord 32 on an annular face consists of a plurality of rollers which respectively rotate around respective rotating shafts as centers, and comprise at least first and second rollers 74 and 76 alternately engaged on the annular face respectively in the forward direction and the backward direction, and the first and second rollers are arranged so as to be mutually separated, and a plurality of rollers between which a path is formed, and a guide tube 80 extending between the first and second rollers, occupying at least partly the path, having a passing path with a dimension for receiving a tire cord by closely attaching in the axial line direction, and having a guide tube end part 81 for discharging the tire cord, are provided.
