<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fluctuation of tape tension caused by vertical position fluctuation of a tension band in a magnetic recording and reproducing device. <P>SOLUTION: Vertical positions of the tension band wound around an outer periphery part of the reel stand by own tension of the tension band are stabilized by forming an outer periphery part 104a of a feed side reel stand 104 which is wound around with the tension band 109 in a taper shape or drum shape. Fluctuation of the vertical positions of the tension band is prevented, fluctuation of the tension of the tension band itself by rising and falling of the tension band is prevented, tape tension control can be stably performed, and stabilization of tape travelling is achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
