An antenna and a semiconductor device having the same are provided to reduce a thickness by using only a conductive pattern without a circuit element. An antennal includes a loop-shaped conductive pattern(101a,101b), a feeding unit(102), and at least one cut unit(103). The feeding unit is positioned on one portion of the loop-shaped conductive pattern. At least one cut unit is positioned on another portion of the loop-shaped conductive pattern. Cross sections of the loop-shaped conductive pattern face each other in the cut unit. The number of magnetic fluxes is increased and a current of the antenna is increased by forming the antenna in a loop shape.
