PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass pane supporting structure capable of making a unit glass same as an SCN unit glass by bonding and curing a structural silicone sealing material having a sufficient adhesive strength in a short curing time. SOLUTION: A glass pane 1 and an aluminum extruded member 2 are bonded and integrated through a rubber-made cushioning material 4 fitted in a nearly U-shaped groove in the aluminum extruded member 2 by using a dealcoholized high-modulus silicone sealing material 3 of a two-component system, i.e., a high-modulus silicone sealing material having a usable time at 25°C of 90 minutes or shorter in a factory, to make glass units 9, 9. The glass units 9, 9 are transported to a site, and are fixed to a substrate member 7 on a substrate member 7 by a bolt by using an aluminum cover material 5. A weather seal 8 is installed between the glass units 9, 9 to ensure the water tightness between the glass units 9, 9 to constitute a glass curtain wall 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
