A terminal fitting, a connector, and a terminal fitting forming method are provided to place a latch part at a front end of an outer wall and to restrict the opened deformation of the outer wall by the latch part, and to place the latch part on an inner surface of a second wall to guide the latch part when forming terminal fitting from the even member in order to increase production. A terminal fitting(11) comprises a substantially box-shaped main portion(21). The box-shaped main portion includes a first wall, second and third walls(25,26) projecting from the first wall, a fourth wall(27) projecting from the second wall towards the third wall and substantially facing the first wall, and an outer wall projecting from third wall towards the second wall and placed at least partly on an outer surface of the fourth wall. The outer wall has at least one latch(42) projecting from the outer wall towards the first wall, and the fourth wall has at least one escaping portion(43) receiving the part of the latch part. The latch part engages at least part of a peripheral edge of the escaping portion. The latch part is provided at the front end of the outer wall.
