PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the optimized color reproducibility by altering the color reducibility from the result of judgment in the identification of the kinds of light sources built in optical adaptors. SOLUTION: The endoscope using different light sources has the optical adaptors 1 and 2 detachably mounted at the tip of a scope part 10, an adaptor identification part 20 which designates an image processing method to an image processing part 15a from proper information of the adaptors 1 and 2.
