<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting circuit that can reduce the heating value, when open failure occurs in a light-emitting element is lower than the heating value, when the light-emitting element is in normal operation. <P>SOLUTION: This lighting device includes a plurality of series-connected LED elements 2, and resistance elements 14A and 14B which are parallel-connected to individual LED elements from among the plurality of LED elements 2 and which detect the open failure occurring in any one from among the plurality of LED elements 2; and additionally, the device includes a controlled rectifier element 13, which is parallel-connected to the individual LED elements 2 from among the plurality of LED elements and which goes into continuity state, on the basis of the results detected by the resistance elements 14A and 14B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
