<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability in entering a print job using a hot folder. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes: a detecting means for detecting that a content is entered into the folder; a calculating means for calculating the total number of pages of the content if exceptional setting for the page is set in the print setting, which is to be applied to the content entered into the folder; a determining means for determining whether or not the total number of pages calculated by the calculating means satisfies the exceptional setting in the print setting; and a job generating means for generating the print job including the content and the setting content of the print setting if the total number of pages calculated by the determining means satisfies the exceptional setting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
