METHOD FOR DEMODULATING CODE ACQUISITION USING CODE AND ORDER OF OBSERVATION

A method for acquiring and detecting a code of an observation value and a rank-based code are provided to be stronger to a deviation with an actual value of irregular(non-normal) noise distribution without requiring initial information of the distribution. A transmission signal is converted into a baseband in-phase-orthogonal phase signal. A correlation value of the in-phase/orthogonal phase signal and a pseudo-noise code generated during a correlation length 'N' is calculated and sampled by chips to obtain the jth samples(j=1, 2, ...N). The samples are converted into a code vector Z and a size rank vector Q to obtain a code rank inspection statistical amount based on a local optimum detection reference, and then, approximate values of c(i,j) and d(i) are substituted to obtain the code rank inspection statistical amount.
