PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service providing system and a service providing method allowing feature expansion not limited to a simple feature according to protocol conversion rules to enable control from an AP (application) side. SOLUTION: In a synchronized information service system 10, a Web accessor component 36 of a PIM system 12 comprises a user management part 46, a synchronization management part 48, a ToDo management part 50, an address book management part 52 and a schedule management part 54 while a PIM accessor component of a Web system (not illustrated) also comprises a user management part, a synchronization management part, a ToDo management part, an address book management part and a schedule management part 54, and the PIM system 12 and the Web system are accessed to each other by functions of a cooperation management part 56 and a cooperation management part in the PIM accessor component while information is managed, thereby allowing communication between the two systems.
