PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary-roller-type transmission capable of meeting high-speed rotation and of being reduced in its axial length. SOLUTION: A solar axis 42, a low-speed axis 45, sun rollers 43A, 43B, and an outer ring 41 are coaxially arranged. A planetary roller 44 is arranged between the sun rollers 43A, 43B and the outer ring 41 in an orbital motion unable manner. Rolling surfaces of the sun rollers 43A, 43B become in contact with a rolling surface of the planetary roller 44 under pressure. Motive energy is transmitted between the sun roller 43B and the solar axis 42. A cam ring 87 which rotates integrally with the solar axis 42 is provided coaxially with the solar axis 42. Motive energy is transmitted between the sun roller 43A and the cam ring 87. Axial travels of the sun roller 43A and cam ring 87 are regulated. An axial travel of the solar axis 42 is put under restraint, while the planetary roller 44 is allowed to axially travel.
