An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to prevent an excitation voltage with respect to an option signal supplied to a timing controller so that the excitation voltage cannot affect a reset terminal of the timing controller. A gate driver(104) and a data driver(106) drive a liquid crystal panel(102). An input unit as a user connector(110) receives an option signal from the exterior. A timing controller(108) controls the drivers and performs an option function corresponding to the option signal. A buffer unit(112) is positioned between the input unit and the controller and removes an excitation voltage with respect to the option signal outputted from the input unit. The buffer unit includes a control switch as the first transistor(TR1) to selectively output a supply voltage in a supply voltage line and a base voltage in a base voltage line to the timing controller in response to the option signal from the input unit.
