A power plug electrode rod and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form an electric wire connection unit of the electrode rod and a ground rod connected to an electrode rod of an outlet through a press mold, thereby reducing manufacturing processes and accordingly improving workability of a worker. An electric wire connection unit(110) comprises an electric wire insertion hole(111) coupled with an electric wire of an electronic device. In one end of the electric wire connection unit, a connection flange(112) is formed. A ground rod(120) is coupled with the electric wire connection unit. Within the ground rod, a hollow groove(121) connected with the electric wire insertion hole of the electric wire connection unit is formed. In another end of the ground rod, a ground flange(122) having a mount groove for mounting the connection flange of the electric wire connection unit is formed. By bending the ground flange, the electric wire connection unit is fixed to the ground rod.
