PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device where the thin-layer coated state of magnetic one-component toner having particle size of 5 to 7μm is stably held to secure sufficient conveying property and also the adhesion of the magnetic one-component toner to the surface of a developer carrier is restrained over a long term. SOLUTION: By blasting FGB #600 to the surface of aluminum cylinder material, rugged shape is formed thereon. By measuring the vertical cross-section curve of the rugged shape by a contact type surface roughness meter, three parameters, a shape coefficient K, a maximum height Rz, and an average distance Sm, are output. Working conditions are adjusted so that the shape coefficient K is≤0.45, the maximum height Rmax is 4-10μm, and the average distance Sm is 30-60μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
