PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated waveguide capable of suppressing increase in cross talk, even in when there are at least two light transmission lines and a certain transmission line among them crossing other transmission lines, and to provide a manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: A first and a second light guide layer 36, 37 are laminated. The laminated waveguide includes: a first transmission line for transmitting light between a VCSEL array 31a and a PD array 32a; a second transmission line for transmitting light between a VCSEL array 31b and a PD array 32b; a polymer waveguide 33a that is contained in the first transmission line and formed in the first light guide layer 36; and a polymer waveguide 34b that is contained in the second transmission line and formed in the second light guide layer 37. The first and second transmission lines are provided with a cross region 38 in which these two lines intersect.
