The invention relates to electric measuring equipment and can be used for quick measurement of frequency. Method for frequency measurement is based on count of number of pulses corresponding to frequency being measured during standard time interval. To increase accuracy of measurements, to decrease dynamical error one chooses standard time interval as multiple of period of frequency being measured, at that one first measures fixed number of periods of input frequency.
