PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a printed wiring board so that an effective magnetic flux density contributing to a coil is not lowered, to keep a low attitude by directly assembling flat plate commutator pieces by forming a commutator base with resin of a rotor, and to extend the life by increasing the sliding part of a rectifying device in thickness. SOLUTION: This axial air-gap rotor is composed of the winding-type air-core armature coil 3 arranged at one side of the printed wiring board 1, and a flat plate commutator C arranged in the center of the rotation of the same side. The commutator has the base 2a, and a plurality of the commutator pieces 4 which are arranged at the base 2a by a positioning guide 2b, and have connecting terminals 4b integrally and axially extended from the flat sliding part 4a. On the printed wiring board 1, there are formed terminal connecting lands 1e and a plurality of through-holes 1a connected to the terminal connecting lands 1e, and tips of the connecting terminals 4b are filled into the holes and connected to the other side of the printed wiring board 1.
