There is provided a technique for facilitating file marking by adding attribute information to the file according to read of biometric information. Biometric information is read from a living body moving and attribute information based on the biometric information is added to the file. According to the biometric information which has been read, the direction of the movement of the living body is judged. When the movement direction coincides with a predetermined direction, the file is searched according to the biometric information.
