A junction box assembly has a cover 12 which can be removed by one hand. A closure member 16 has an opening 16a and a closure panel (16d, Fig 1C). A locking member (18, Fig 1B) goes into the opening and pushes the closure panel outwards against a blocking member (24, Fig 1A) which secures the cover to the box. When the locking member is removed, the cover can be hinged open slightly and engagement members 28a, 29a unhooked from hinge members 32, 30. The box may have a seal (see Fig 3C) between the box and the cover; and it may have grommet positioners 34, drainage means (23, Fig 4B) and/or board positioning means (20, Fig 2). |
