<p>It is possible to improve user-friendliness of a mobile terminal device having a key operation lock function. When no key operation has been performed for a predetermined period of time, a time out signal is inputted to lock control means (23) from a timer (22). When a case is closed, the lock control means (23) receives a detection result indicating that the case is closed from an open/close detection unit (6). The lock control means (23) judges that a lock instruction is generated when the time out signal is inputted or the detection result of the open/close detection unit (6) indicates that the case has been closed. The lock control means (23) judges whether the state of the mobile telephone satisfies a predetermined condition. When the predetermined condition is satisfied, the lock control means (23) outputs a key operation lock start signal to control means (25). Otherwise, the lock control means (23) waits until the predetermined condition is satisfied and then outputs the key operation lock start signal.</p> |
