<p>PURPOSE:To enable a car body to decelerate and stop in emergency even if the use of power becomes impossible by jetting high-pressure gas in advance direction thereby getting the braking force, in a linear motor car which levitates and runs the car body. CONSTITUTION:When an emergency top switch is turned on, a jet engine 2 operates, and generates a large quantity of high-pressure gas, and sends this high-pressure gas to a front air server 4a and a rear air server 4b so as to store it in them. Moreover, at the same time, solenoid valves 7a-7e for adjustment of air quantity are opened, and the high-pressure gas inside the front air server 4a and the rear server 4b is jetted forward and sideward from air outlet nozzles 5a-5e so as to get braking force. What is more, the acceleration at braking, that is, the quantity of jet of the high-pressure gas from the air outlet nozzles 5a-5f is controlled within a safe range not more than a certain value by the acceleration control system composed of an accelerometer 9, a sensor 10, and an oil regulating valve 12.</p> |
