PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound propagation path type speaker system in which unwanted resonance or anti-resonance of acoustic vibration in a low frequency domain is suppressed and sound pressure-to-frequency characteristics in a reproduction band are flattened by preventing standing wave formation of a transmission wave in middle and high frequency domains. SOLUTION: In the sound propagation path type speaker system, diaphragms 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D are supported by an edge 2 and disposed at predetermined intervals within a tube part 4. Each of the diaphragms is a mass element which can make amplitude in a length direction of the tube part 4 within a deformation range of the edge 2, and air within air chambers 3A, 3B and 3C which are formed in the diaphragms in a divided manner, is an elastic element. The sound propagation path type speaker system is characterized in restricting the amplitude of the diaphragms 1B and 1C and suppressing unwanted resonance or anti-resonance caused by the diaphragms by forming ventilation paths 6B and 6C between the adjacent air chambers.
