A device for collecting solar energy is provided to reduce weight and to form large focus of solar by forming an air inlet at a lower plate of a light collecting unit. A device for collecting solar energy comprises a light collecting unit(10), a heat collecting unit(30), a thermal storing tub, a supplying pipe, a return pipe(30b), a heat pipe(58), and a latent heat material(56). The heat collecting unit has the heat pipe inside thereof to collect heat by receiving a focus from the light collecting unit. The thermal storing tub is connected with the supplying pipe and the return pipe and returns the heat-transferred heat media to the heat collecting unit through the return pipe. The light collecting unit comprises a lower plate wherein an air inlet(18) is formed, and an upper transparent cover(16). A reflector, which is curved from a flange and collects light, is eccentrically formed on the lower plate to move focus of solar. The flange is formed at an outer part of the lower plate. The upper transparent cover is transformed from planar shape to arch shape by injecting air through the air inlet.
