PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder which can solve image defects such as white streaks caused by defective nozzles, without enlargement and cost increase of an apparatus body being incurred and by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A detecting means 12 which detects the defective nozzles of line heads 11C-11K is set downstream in a paper conveyance direction of the line heads 11C-11K which deliver coloring ink for printing. Moreover, a head for repair 13 which delivers an ink for repair is set downstream in the paper conveyance direction of the detecting means 12. A colorless transparent ink lower in viscosity than the coloring ink is filled in the head for repair 13, so that transparent ink droplets of a larger volume than that of coloring ink droplets delivered from the line heads 11C-11K are delivered.
