The barrier (10) has bulkhead components e.g. Z-sheet pile (16) and connection units (22, 24), that are supported on a surface of the ground and connected with one another in such a manner that the barrier stands freely. Peiner-beams (12) comprise the length of three meters and are arranged in parallel, where an intermediate space between the bulkhead components is filled with a filling material e.g. soil, concrete or plastic foam. The sheet pipe and the beams run at an angle of 90 degrees to one another.
