An air conditioner is provided to obtain ventilation capacity required in a limited space of the air conditioner with an optimized ventilation passage by introducing outside air for ventilation through a piping, while keeping the size compact. An air conditioner(100) comprises a casing(130), a fan(140), a heat exchanger(150), a piping part(200), and a connection channel. The case comprises an outside air inlet port in connection with an outside air introducing duct to introduce outside air to the piping. The fan, mounted inside the casing, moves indoor air. The heat exchanger performs heat exchange with the indoor air moved by the fan. The piping part including piping(220) in connection with the heat exchanger, is a space isolated from a passage for the indoor air moved by the fan. The outside air for indoor ventilation is moved through the piping. The connection channel forms a passage where the outdoor air from the piping is discharged towards the indoor air passage.
