A flexible printed circuit board is provided to assure tension margin by the thickness of a base film, by printing a polyimide type ink on a bottom plane. A flexible printed circuit board(60) includes a base film(30). Top and bottom base adhesive layers(32,34) are coated on both planes of the base film. Top and bottom copper foil layers(36,38) are attached to the top and bottom base adhesive layer. Top and bottom cladding layer are formed on the top and bottom copper foil layer. A cover lay layer(52) is attached to an adhesive on the non-open region of the top cladding layer. A polyimide layer(54) is formed on the non-open region of the bottom cladding layer.
